Image description

Most people don't intend to disturb others - they simply need a gentle reminder.

Phones help us stay connected, informed, and entertained. But in shared spaces, speakerphone conversations, videos, voice notes, and music can quickly become disruptive to the people around us. No Speaker Zone exists to help organizations create more respectful public spaces.

Free to Download. Easy to Display.

This website provides free, ready-to-use graphics for businesses, healthcare facilities, offices, and schools with waiting rooms, or other common areas. Each graphic offers a simple, respectful reminder: please use headphones or keep your phone on silent while sharing a public space.

Our goal is not to police phone use. It is to make it easier for organizations to promote a calmer, more comfortable environment for everyone.

Download a graphic. Display it where it matters. Help make consideration the norm.

Format: We have provided multiple editable formats to allow you to make changes to size, colour, wording, even add logos, to fit with the sensibilities of the organization using the graphics.

Licence: The graphics on this site were designed for nospeakerzone for the free and unlimited use of any person or organization.

Size: Ensure the graphic is of a size that the images and text can be seen and understood from the distance of

the furthest person for whom the sign is intended.

Placement Height: For public transit or waiting rooms, eye level (about 1.5 meters or 5 feet) is standard for maximum noticeability.

Material: If these are going in high-traffic areas, a matte lamination is better than glossy to prevent glare from overhead fluorescent lights.

Contrast: If you're printing in black and white to save costs, ensure the red "slash" is a dark enough grey to still look authoritative against the phone icon.
